A new choice for tool forgings: servo electric screw presses

A tool forging factory located in a southern city has long used traditional friction presses for production. However, with the increasingly fierce market competition and the improvement of product quality and production efficiency requirements, manufacturers began to face a series of challenges.

Of course, Mr. Li also knows that the one-time equipment investment of the servo electric screw press is larger than that of the friction press. But from the perspective of long-term development and competitiveness, it is a worthwhile investment. He calculated an account: taking into account labor costs, energy consumption, maintenance and product quality, the overall cost of using a servo electric screw press is actually lower than the friction press.

So, Mr. Li put forward a proposal to the factory to update the equipment, and was supported by the leadership. They decided to introduce a servo electric screw press for trial use.

After the new equipment is in place, the factory organizes special training to familiarize employees with the operation and maintenance process. After a month of trial, the data show that production efficiency has indeed improved significantly, and product quality is more stable. Employees have also reported that the new equipment runs smoothly, is easy to operate, and the working environment has been improved.

Looking at the busy scene in the workshop, Mr. Li was full of expectations.
